Congratulations to Mise en Rose and her connections at Godolphin.  Read the story below from Godolphin's website:

"Mise En Rose stayed on well to take second in the seven-furlong G3 L´Ormarins Queens Plate Stakes on the fourth day of the Qatar Goodwood Festival, Friday, July 29.

The War Front three-year-old, trained by Charlie Appleby, stepped up in class following an impressive victory in handicap company at Newmarket, Mise En Rose was held up by James McDonald in third last of the 11 runners on the far rail off a strong early pace.

She progressed into sixth approaching the quarter-mile marker and continued to make headway, going second inside the final furlong but could not get to grips with Al Jazi who kept on well to win by a length and three-quarters in 1m 24.92s on ground described as good to firm.

Charlie Appleby said: "I'm delighted with Mise En Rose. If you had told me this morning she was going to finish second then I would have taken that quite happily.

"They have gone quite hard early on and she has struggled to lay up a bit. James said she was just behind the bridle a little bit but she has stayed on nicely. She has got a turn of foot and she utilised it. I'm very pleased.

"Seven furlongs is definitely her trip. With quick ground and seven furlongs, we might just nick one somewhere.""
