Hinkle Farms is located just outside Paris, KY in the heart of the world’s most important Thoroughbred producing regions. We neighbor such world-renown farms as Adena Springs, Claiborne, Stone and Stonerside Farms. Many of the worlds leading stallions stand at stud minutes from our front gate. Whether your intentions are breeding to race or sell, we have a program that is suitable for your needs.

Hinkle Farms has been breeding and selling horses for over 30 years. The farm comprises of more than 850 acres of spacious pastures, mineral rich soil and clean modern barns designed to maximize the safety of all Thoroughbred stock in our care. We have raised such distinguished horses as Queen Elizabeth II (G1) winner Bit of Whimsy, Florida Derby (G1) winner High Fly, Allaire DuPont Distaff H. (G2) winner Buy the Barrel and many others. Our attention to detail and focus on our clients needs is what sets us apart. At a time when farms and consignments are growing larger and larger, we can offer a more personal relationship.

Our knowledgeable staff has over 40 years of personal experience with a carefully developed program of feeding, veterinary care and breeding procedures designed to keep our stock in peak condition and achieve maximum in-foal percentages. Our reproductive veterinarian Dr. Karen Wolfsdorf is one of the leading reproductive specialists in the State of Kentucky. Her expertise and close interaction with our farm staff has achieved over 90% in-foal status every year. This percentage rivals any farm in the region and has helped us retain a great clientele for many years.
