In her second consecutive appearance in the 5 ½ furlong Buffalo Trace Franklin County S. at Keeneland, Ageless, a multiple graded stakes winning mare bred by Hinkle Farms, secured the lead in the final strides to win by a head. Hanging mid-pack through a blistering :21.56 quarter mile, Ageless swung wide around the turn and rallied at the rail to slip past the 3-5 favorite Lady Shipman.

Ageless endured a laceration to her left hock after clipping heals with Free As A Bird down the back stretch, who ran third, beaten 3 lengths.  Ageless was taken to Hagyard Equine Medical Hospital and was treated for her injuries, which fortunately caused no structural damage.  Despite her injury the 6-year-old mare demonstrated a remarkable turn of foot down the final stretch and set a new course record of 1:03.66
