For the second year in a row, Ageless has won the Very One S. on Preakness Day at Pimlico.  The 6 year old mare, who blossomed as a 5 year old, has now won 9 out of 19 races and has placed in 16, with earnings of nearly $550,000.

Taking off as the favorite with 6-5 odds in the 5 furlong turf sprint, Ageless was shuffled toward the rear early in the race.  Hugging the rail as she and jockey Julien Leparoux turned for home, Ageless was directed out wide at the top of the stretch and rallied late to hold off the others by ¾ of a length.

Ageless set a new course record with a time of 55.66 seconds.
