It was a second straight victory for Hinkle Farms-bred Aug Lutes (2f o/o Not My Tap) at Woodbine on Saturday in her second career start.

The filly proved that she learned plenty from her first start last month when she sat just a length off the pacesetter in the six-furlong race on Saturday. She moved closer as they raced around the turn and was dueling for the lead down the stretch.

In the final furlong, Aug Lutes started to pull away for a 1 ¾ length win with the third placed runner nearly five lengths behind.

Aug Lutes was sold from the Hinkle Farms consignment as a yearling for $47,000 in their Keeneland September consignment in 2019.
