Daydreaming Boy Back to Winning Ways at Parx

The stakes-placed Hinkle-bred Daydreaming Boy (3c out of Denali Dreamscape) visited the Parx Racing winner’s circle on Wednesday with a 1 ½ length Allowance Optional Claiming victory.

Racing less than two lengths behind the leader in the 6 ½ furlong race, Daydreaming Boy was part of a tightly packed bunch and had to wait for room to make his move around the quarter pole. He was piloted outside of the pack and gamely set down to get to work. He had the lead inside the final furlong and continued to motor down the stretch to build a 1 ½ length lead at the line with the margin growing with every stride.

Daydreaming Boy races for Bran Jam Stable and David Clark and was sold by Hinkle as a weanling during the 2020 Keeneland November Sale. He is one of two stakes performers from three named foals out of Denali Dreamscape alongside the stakes winning New Boss.

Denali Dreamscape had a Mastery filly last year.
