Daydreaming Boy (2c o/o Denali Dreamscape) broke his maiden in his second start in a Parx Racing Maiden Special Weight.

The Hinkle Farms-bred went straight to the lead out of the gate in the six furlong dirt race to set the pace. Traveling easily once he got into stride, Daydreaming Boy never looked back and happily drew away when Mychel Sanchez asked for more down the stretch. Sanchez rode the colt out as he pulled away for a 7 ½ length victory with only two horses within 25 lengths of him in the end.

Daydreaming Boy was a weanling purchase by Shawhan Place from Hinkle Farms at the 2020 Keeneland November Sale. Out of three-time winning Denali Dreamscape, Daydreaming Boy is a half-brother to the stakes winning New Boss and two-time winner Jamie Dreams. Denali Dreamscape is a half-sister to stakes winners Tax Refund, Sophia’s Song, and Grade 2 placed Unbridled Beauty and one of four stakes producers out of Dreamscape.

Dreamscape is a full sister to champion Housebuster.
