Divieto Newest Hinkle-Bred Stakes Winner

A winner on debut in July, Divieto (2c out of Exaggerated) put a bad second start behind him on Sunday in the Aventura Stakes.

Dealing with a bad break in the one-mile dirt race, Divieto raced away from that complication to take the lead quickly. He kept a safe distance between himself and the rest of the field from there as he set the pace a few lengths in front. The colt had to dig deep in the final furlong as another runner came for him but was willing to put in the effort to win by half a length at the line.

Divieto is trained by Antonio Sano for Magic Stables, Cairoli Racing Stable and Midnight Racing. The Hinkle-bred was sold to Susan Casner for $65,000 at the 2021 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale before his trainer bought him for $110,000 as a yearling.

By Dialed In, Divieto is out of the multiple stakes winning Blame mare Exaggerated. That mare was a $90,000 purchase by Hinkle at the 2020 Keeneland November Sale and is also the dam of the stakes placed Murky.  Exaggerated is a half-sister to the graded stakes placed duo of Scampering and Ameribelle with Scampering also producing the stakes winning In A Hurry.

Exaggerated had a Summer Front filly last year.
