It was a big win for Ghazaaly (3c o/o Transportation) at Keeneland on the third when he broke his maiden impressively at Keeneland.

Racing 1 1/8 miles on the dirt, Ghazaaly shadowed American Law from just outside that horse throughout the first turn and down the backstretch. As they entered the final six furlongs, Ghazaaly added pressure on the pacesetter and dueled with him around the turn. He took the advantage as they entered the stretch and pulled away from there to win by two lengths with the third placed horse 9 ¼ lengths behind him.

Owned by Shadwell, Ghazaaly was purchased by his racing owner for $1.05 million at the 2019 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. The colt was the third highest priced Curlin yearling at that sale and the fifth highest priced horse of the first session.
