The third time in a stakes was the charm for Ginobili (4g o/o Find The Humor) when he finished second in the G2 San Vicente Stakes to join the Triple Crown trail.

Ginobili went straight to the lead in the seven-furlong dirt race where he was pressured by Nadal throughout the race. Ginobili refused to give into the pressure and dueled that one all the way down the stretch, only going down by three-quarters of a length in the end.

Ginobili’s first two stakes attempts both resulted in fourth place finishes on the dirt and turf after breaking his maiden at Del Mar.

Ginobili was a $35,000 Keeneland September graduate from the Hinkle Farms consignment in 2018.
