Global Orb (3c out of Nathan’s Mom Becky) proved to be one of the best Russian 2-year-olds on August 14 with a third-place finish in the Pridonya 2-Year-Old Grand Prix.

It was the first time the Hinkle Farms-bred raced farther than a sprint distance when going a mile on the dirt after two victories in his first two starts. He is one of three winners from three to race out of Nathan’s Mom Becky, who has also produced the stakes-placed and five-time winner Prince Pierce from those runners.

Nathan’s Mom Becky has a yearling Twirling Candy filly in this year’s Keeneland September Yearling Sale as Hip 1119. She can be inspected at Barn 48. The mare also has a colt by West Coast at foot.
