No Ordinary Time (3f o/o Cross Winds) proved that she is anything but ordinary at Gulfstream Park on March 27 with a Maiden Special Weight victory over 1 1/16 miles on the turf.

Racing in midpack for much of the race, she was three wide into the turn as she started to roll. It took her until the furlong pole to get to the front where she entered a duel with another late closer. That one finally gave up and backed off as No Ordinary Time opened up half a length as she hit the line.

No Ordinary Time is trained by Reeve McGaughey for Joseph Allen. The Hinkle Farms-bred Frosted filly was purchased for $600,000 at the 2019 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. The price made her one of the highest priced Frosted yearlings of 2019.
