Hinkle Farms-bred Princess Halime (4f o/o Moon Dreamer) added a third win to her seven-race record on August 30 with an Allowance victory at Fort Erie.
Racing over 6 ½ furlongs on the dirt, Princess Halime wasn’t the first out of the gate but she quickly went to the lead and opened up a few lengths on the field. She kept nearly five lengths on the field throughout the race and had four lengths on the field as she crossed the line.
The pair behind her was a head apart but the rest of the field was over 14 lengths behind the winner.
Princess Halime is one of two winners from two to race out of Moon Dreamer with the duo also including multiple stakes winner Media Luna. Moon Dreamer’s yearling filly by City of Light is consigned to the Keeneland September Sale as Hip 2750.
The filly’s page includes three horses earning stakes placings since the catalog was released, including Media Luna.
