Coming off an impressive win in June at Churchill, the 4YO Ghostzapper filly barely missed in the Ellis Park Turf Stakes on 7/7/19 in what was a photo finish for 1-2-3. 

The chart from the race reads: "STAVE tracked the pace early, shifted into the three path in the far turn, was under a long drive in the stretch while three wide and missed in the final stages."

She has a record of 4-2-1 in 12 starts. 

Stave was bred and is owned by Hinkle Farms. She is the last filly out of the E Dubai and GII winning mare Buy The Barrel.
