A wonderful victory today for Stave, who broke her maiden by 6 1/2 for trainer Larry Jones at Keeneland. Stave is the last filly out of our homebred G2 winner Buy The Barrel, who was also trained by Larry Jones. We have kept several of Buy The Barrel’s fillies, but bad luck has prevented us from racing any of them until Stave. It was incredibly special to see her win so impressively in Kentucky, surrounded by many friends and family who loved her mother dearly.
