The third time was charm for Hinkle Farms-bred Jamie Dreams (3g o/o Denali Dreamscape), who broke his maiden at Parx Racing on April 5.
Breaking strongly in the seven-furlong dirt race, Jamie Dreams vied for the lead throughout much of the race. Ruben Silvera started to hustle him in the stretch and Jamie Dreams happily picked up the pace.
Breaking away from the duel he’d been engaged in, Jamie Dreams started to draw off and had 2 ¾ lengths on the field at the finish.
Jamie Dreams was part of the Hinkle Keeneland September draft and sold to Ricardo Gutierrez before being resold as a 2-year-old by Gutierrez the following year.
